Academic/Professional Prerequisites for Master of Science, MSc (two year program):

  • A Bachelor’s degree comprising at least 180 ECTS credits or an equivalent in one of the following areas:

    • Engineering Programs in Electronics, Electrical Engineering, Informatics, Robotics, Telecommunication or Computer Science.

    • Science Programs in Physics, Mathematics and other faculties with technical and scientific components.

    • Universities of Applied Sciences (Fachhochschule, Haute Ecole Spécialisée, Scuola Universitaria Professionale). In compliance with CRUS regulations, students having received a Bachelor degree from a Universities of Applied Sciences must follow University courses for further 30 ECTS; details on the implementation of such rule will be provided soon. Credits over 180 ECTS may be recognized to comply with CRUS rules.

  • 4+ Years Bachelor graduates, or graduates with more than 180 ECTS may get credit for some of the courses taught during their bachelor studies, and use them to substitute equivalent ALaRI courses.

  • Students having achieved in their Bachelor studies more than 180 ECTS (or equivalent credits) may ask to get credit for some of the courses taught during their bachelor studies, and use them to substitute equivalent ALaRI courses. The ALaRI Director will evaluate the syllabus of previous courses and check for equivalence with ALaRI programme courses. In case of a match between acquired/required competence and credits, he may decide to credit the course as previously covered and assign the corresponding ECTS to the student.  In the case of in-coming students having achieved 180 ECTS, a similar approach may lead to substitution of an ALaRI course with other ones for the total ECTS equivalent.
